The event will bring together a diverse group of women leaders including elected officials and members of the large Somali community in Central Ohio. The ceremony will be held at the Ohio Statehouse Atrium, located at 1 Capitol Square, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
The purpose of this event is to highlight the role of women in society and particularly recognize and encourage emerging new American women leaders in Ohio. Certificates of recognition will be presented to an outstanding woman Central Ohio in recognition of her leadership and contributions to improving women’s progress both in our community and globally. You will have an opportunity to meet and greet and share the joy of the ceremony with some of the most prominent women in Ohio. Both men and women are cordially invited.
