How Farah Dhagjuun from Adaado became Faqey sidi from Shangani city
AMAZING STORY…WORTH REVISTING..THE TRUTH
THIS IS IT. PLEASE ENJOY THE WHOLE VIDEO -THE LINK BELLOW
This story has happened some five – six years ago but still its content is as valid as it was at that time when it happened – in the sense of the hypocrisy and double standards involved in the episode. It is a typical example that is being repeated so many times and at different situations, levels and categories in different parts of Southern Somalia. Faarax Dhagajuun now not only became Faqi Sidi, but also walks, talks, acts…like Reer Xamar. That is fine but it s not the end of the story The real danger is that Farax/Faqi may even go further and claim that Shangaani historically “belongs” to “him/them” because that is what is happening in similar circumstances in many parts of Southern Somalia. We can see and hear similar stories coming from Xamar Weyne, Marka, Afgoe, Awdheegle, Janaale. No 50, Braawe, Kismaayo and..and..all of which seem to have fallen under the same sword. As they say there is a big difference between “KU DHASHAY” and “KA DHASHAY”. That is why this clip has got not only a historical importance but also and as well as a legal significance.
HELLO!, FAARAX DHAGAJUUN BECAME FAQI SIDI ONLY SIX YEARS AGO AND FOR A GOOD REASON…A HUMANTARIAN ONE AND THAT DOES NOT MAKE HIM AN INDIGENOUS NATIVE OF SHANGAANI. IT IS A QUESTION OF BEINING HONEST ABOUT YOUR IDETITY. THIS SAME PRINCIPLE APPLIES TO XAMAR WEYNE, MARKA, AFGOE, AWDHEEGLE, JANAALE, NO 50, BRAAWE AND….WHOLE REGIONS WHICH ARE AT RISK NOW, NAMELY SH. HOOSE AND THE JUBA REGIONS!!!
Revisiting this clip really does matter and can be used as a threshold for raising once more the concerns of the indigenous people of Xamar and the regions of Southern Somalia and can be used to start a civilized debate of this very serious and unacceptable behaviour by some. Editing, recycling or trying to fabricate the historical and natural identities of the native peoples of the Southern Regions of Somalia is doomed to fail. The formation of the South Western Regional State composed of six regions is a good first positive step for finding a just solution to the problems of Somalia in general and that of this regions in particular.
