Mogadishu(SONNA)-Governor of the Central Bank of the Federal Government of Somalia, Bashir Isse Ali on Thursday said that a fake money flow has had great negative impact in some towns in the country, calling government and regional states to handle this as soon as possible, SONNA reported.
” There are fake banknotes brought to some markets and towns in the country in recent, they had very bad negative impacts on the life of the society, I am calling for the Federal Government and regional states to handle the money crisis”, Mr. Ali said.
The Governor added that they are planning to issue new money for the country in order to quit from such crisis that often affect the community’s vulnerable people.
The fake banknotes crisis hit main towns in central Somalia such Beledweyne town in Hiiraan region.
