ASMARA, Eritrea – Eritrea’s president Isaias Afwerki has strongly condemned on Monday the latest attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities, said in a statement.

Eritrea’s statement said the president Afwerki sent a message of solidarity to Saudi Arabia and its people.

“This dangerous act is fraught with further exacerbating the overall precarious situation in the region”, he said.

The attack on the world’s largest oil plant in Saudi Arabia also caused oil prices rocketing by 20 percent

Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for the Saturday’s bombing.

But the U.S. says Iran played a key role for the drone attack, while Tehran denies Washington’s allegation.

However, the latest attacks on two plants Saudi’s oil industry knocked out more than half of Saudi crude output, media reported on Monday.
