Embassy of the Republic of Angola In Japan host Independence Day Reception

TOKYO, Japan, November 21, 2017–On the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the independence, the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Japan hosted a reception in Tokyo attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, members of the Diet, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the private sector and the civil society as well as members of the Angolan community in Japan.

The Japanese Government was represented at the event by H.E. Mr. Iwao Horii, Parliamentary Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.

The Republic of Angola achieved its independence from Portugal on 11 November 1975.
