Paris’ iconic structure turned its lights off at midnight in rememberance of the more than 300 people killed in an attack on Somalia’s capital. Rough cut (no reporter narration).


The lights of Paris’ Eiffel Tower were turned off at midnight (2200GMT) on Monday (October 16) in a tribute to the victims killed in a twin bomb explosion in Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital.

Somali officials said on Monday that more than 300 people lost their lives in the deadliest attack to ever hit the country.
