Djibouti slams Somalia for calling lifting UN sanctions on Eritrea

Djibout says it has been deeply shocked by a statement made by Somali President Mohamed Abudllahi Farmajo, after he called on United Nation Security Council for lifting of sanctions and economic restrictions on Eritrea.

In an online statement by Djibouti’s Embassy in Mogadishu said that  it is “unacceptable” to see Somalia supporting Eritrea at a time when Asmara is “occupying” Djibouti territory.
