At least six people have been killed and 14 others injured in a suicide car bombing near the presidential palace in Somali capital Mogadishu.
The explosion targeted a military checkpoint near the rear entrance of the heavily fortified palace., according to policeman Mahdi Gedi Hussein.
He says Somali lawmaker Warsame Jodah and senior Universal TV journalist Cawil Daahir were among those killed in the bomb explosion.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Saturday’s bomb explosion in Somali capital Mogadishu.
