WAJIR – Roadside bomb explosion ripped through police vehicle carrying police soldiers in northeast town of Kenya.
The explosion targeted the police vehicle while travelling through Wajir town, killing at least five Kenyan police soldiers, witness said.
The victims were reported to be Somali Ethnic soldiers from Kenya’s Wajir town.

There was no immediate comment from Kenyan police officials over the bomb explosion.
Meanwhile, the Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab group has claimed the responsibility for Sunday’s explosion through its website.
The group says it killed over ten Kenyan soldiers in the bomb blast.
