
BULO MARER, Somalia – Four people have been killed and five others injured in roadside bomb explosion in Bulomarer town, some 150km south of Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
The explosion went off at livestock market in the town, leaving four people dead, a domestic animals trader, Hussein Jim’ale Mohamed said.
Mohamed says five other civilians had also been injured, shortly after bomb explosion on Saturday afternoon.
The victims were taken into nearby hospitals.
The main target of the attack remains unclear, according to Mohamed.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the explosion.
The attack comes days after 15 people were killed and more than 14 injured when suicide bomber blew himself up in a market for the stimulant leaf khat in southern Somalia.
