Somalia:Chief of the Somali National Army complains shortage of troops

Mareeg.com- The Chief of the Somali National Army General Indhaqarshe mentioned at the National Security Conference in Mogadishu, the difficulties that the army soldiers have.

The General said that the capacities of troops are limited and that when the Somali National Army liberates a town or district from Al-Shabaab, they are unable to secure it efficient following the seizure.

General Indhaqarshe added that the during the Siad Barre’s Central Government, the Somali National Army had a military base in Baidoa of the Bay region, for the 60th contingent of the force which is currently not in use.

At last, the Chief of the Somali National Army declared war upon Al-Shabaab by pledging to free  Dinsor, Bardhere and Jilib towns of southern Somalia.
