CECAFA overjoyed by football development in Somalia
The Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) said it has been cheered by the football growth in its member nation of Somalia.
CECAFA Secretary General, Nicholas Musonye [Kenya] said that his regional Africa football governing body was keenly following the activities by the Somali Football Federation.
In a letter he sent to Somali Football Federation president Abdiqani Said Arab, CECAFA Secretary General, Nicholas Musonye, said “We are pleased that the Somali FA Annual General Meeting has noted the good progress being made by the SFF Executive committee and its standing committees”.
“Indeed, for the past couple of years, Somali Football Federation has initiated many programs and as CECAFA we are proud of those new ideas being generated in our member Association” Mr. Musonye mentioned in his letter.
“We are wishing Somali Football Federation success in 2016 and we urge the people of Somalia to their faith and trust in the SFF leadership in order to gain more success. Thank you and May God bless Somalia” added the regional Africa football boss.
His message followed after the Annual General Meeting held on 31st of December 2015 lauded for the progress made by the Somali Football federation through the year 2015.
