Somalia:Blast strikes Mogadishu’s Heliwa district An IED bomb blasted today in Mogadishu after targeting officers from the Somali government. The troops were guarding the Daryel Court near Suuqa Xoolaha when the unexpectedly explosion struck.

Although casualties and losses are sensed to have been caused, the precise numbers are still unknown.

The district commissioner of Heliwa Mohamed Ahmed Hashi reported to Radio Shabelle in Mogadishu and described that dozens were detained in search operations conducted on the frontline of the court almost immediately after the blast.

At last, the commissioner mentioned that the detainees will undergo criminal screening to determine whether they were involved in the bomb blast that rocked Mogadishu today.
