Big rally against Somali govt started in Kismayo

MOGADISHU, Somalia – Hundreds of people took streets of the coastal town of Kismayo to protest against Somalia’s federal government over recent decision to reroute all flights to and from Kismayo through Mogadishu

The demonstration started earlier on Saturday in Kismayo town, some 500km south of the Somali capital, Mogadishu.

In a phone interview, a protestor said Kismayo residents are protesting against the recent government’s decision to ban all flights en-route to and from Kismayo through Mogadishu.

 

Three different  Elections  was held in Kismayo on Thursday were 74 MPs Cast their votes  for 4 Candidates who expressed their interest to be true for the state’s top seat.

Somali Federal Government previously announced it will  not recognize the emergence of this process themselves  saying that the Result  will be not be Fully compatible with procedures set up for the Jubaland Election law.
