| Mogadishu, 12 December 13, 2018. This weekly meeting was about and discussed the Development Plan in 2019 for BRA. The Mayor of Mogadishu and the Governor of Banadir H.E Abdirahman Omar Osman (Eng. Yarisow) was chairing this weekly meeting and deeply discussed about the drainage masterplan activities in the capital, the security issues and presenting photos of Mogadishu’s historyThis weekly meeting was held in the Local Government Center in Warta Nabada District. 17 District Commissioners of Banadir Region displayed their activities in 2018 including social activities, anti-corrupt issues, and broadening the basic services. The Mayor of Mogadishu and the Governor of Banadir thanked deeply the working together between the local community and the police for the security engagement, and this brought about to stop terrorism activities from Al-Shabab Terrorist Organization.This meeting also was focused on drainage and sewerage system of the capital city and its rehabilitation, though the rainy season is coming Banaadir Regional Administration made a study and assessments for the sewage system of the capital city of Somalia to rehabilitate soon all the sewerage system of the Capital City of Somalia-Mogadishu.The Mayor of Mogadishu praised deeply to the people of Mogadishu for their engagements of “Isxilqaan Program (Build your country voluntarily)” which is now going on the National theatre, the National Museum, Mogadishu Stadium and National Library. |
