At least 11 dead in Somalia suicide explosion

MOGADISHU, Somalia – At least 11 people have been killed and 15 others injured in suicide explosion on Thursday in Somali capital Mogadishu.

The victims were civilians in Filsan Restaurant or passers-by as the explosion is from a car filled with explosives parked on the side of the road.

He says rescue workers had evacuated 15 wounded people into hospital.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Thursday’s explosion.

But, such attacks are often carried out by Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab.

The attack comes after Al Shabaab carried out suicide attack on Ministry of Labour on Saturday in Mogadishu, leaving 15 people dead.
