Mareeg.com-Militant group in southern Somalia started on Monday a search operation in Bulomarer town in Lower Shabelle region a day after American drone targeted a key commander in the group.
The militants started to storm houses and business premises of the town of Bulomarer searching what they described as spies working for the U.S government.
They did not arrest anyone but sources ave confrmed that a heavily armed militants were seen investigating buses and lorries coming out of the town.
People in Bulomarer were in fear on Monday morning because Al Shabab militants had a record of beheading people alleging of spying for the western countries.
The operation came after Sunday afternoon a militant commander named as Camu was killed in U.S drone airstrike near Barawe town. Dalsanradio.com
