News reports from Hiran region (central Somalia) have confirmed that AMISOM and somalia troops based in the region to have detained three administrative officials in Beledweyne town, the capital of the region.
The three detained government officials have been identified by name as Lieutenant Abdullahi Barre,Mumin Ali Siad and another official whose name was only identified as Indabuur.
It is reported that the reason behind the detention of the three officials comes after being accused to be involved of the murder of Hashi Hussein Diriyea who was also a top government official a fortnight ago.
A string of coordinated attacks have increasingly taken place in Beledweyne town for the past few months which has created fear among its residents.
