Mareeg.com-Somalia Government today relocated 300 Somali citizens from troubled country of South Sudan where government army and armed opposition are battling.
The citizens relocated back from South Sudan came onblard on a Somali owned cargo flight which the Federal Government of Somalia chartered as it was the second flight since wars erupted in South Sudan.
Shafici Alas who is the first secretary of the Somali Embassy in South Sudan said that the citizens returned to Mogadishu were business people and labourers living in different towns in the country who were affected by the hostility in the world’s newest nation.
“Somali government is committed to safeguard any of its citizens in South Sudan willing ti rerun back.” Alas added.
Two weeks ago 131 citizens who fled from the ongoing violence in South Sudan have returned to Mogadishu. Dalsanradiocom
