Somalia: Interior minister travels to Kenya
MOGADISHU (Mareeg)—Somalia’s Interior Minister, Sheikh Abdulqadir Ali Omar, accompanied by high delegation has traveled to Kenyan capital Nairobi on Monday.

The minister told reporters in Aden Ade international airport in Mogadishu before he flew to Nairobi that he will meet in Nairobi representatives from the international community to talk about the Somali issue.
The minister will stay in Nairobi for a two day official visit and will also talk about the representatives about the needs of the Somali police forces.
Mr. Omar is also seeking to consolidate the relations between the two countries, Somalia and Kenya.
Kenya is the home of thousands of Somali refugees. There have been swoop operations in Kenya against the Somali immigrants since the deportation of a Jamaican cleric from Kenya.
