Four people killed in Middle Shabelle region overnight

Armed groups have shot dead at least Four people in Magurto township of Mahaday district of middle Shabelle region on Saturday night residents said.

Our reporter in the regions says that the Deceased people were women and children those were killed by a men armed with  light rifles when they attacked several location in the village and discriminately opened a fire to the residents.

More than ten people were wounded in that attack.

The killers have hurriedly escaped with a car from the scene they have killed the civilians to the location they at first left from.

The injured people were rushed to the main hospital in Jowhar town 90km from the capital Mogadishu where they are being treated.

The authorities in the region have started an investigation on this incident.
